Get your work reviewed by some of the most influential people in the country in outdoor photography. With the full or portfolio pass, you will receive five reviews. You can purchase more reviews as an ala Carte option before or during the festival. Your work can be shown as prints or digitally on a laptop computer you provide. Each one-on-one appointment is 20 minutes long and it is recommended that you limit your presented images to less than 20. Portfolio reviews will be held on Friday September 24th, Saturday September 25th and the morning of Sunday September 26th.
We anticipate over 50 portfolio reviewers that are photographers, magazine editors, directors of photography, photo editors, creative directors, stock agency representatives, marketing managers, advertising agency art buyers, educators, museum directors/curators, and gallery directors. Most will be people you will come in contact with if you currently are a professional photographer or seek a career in photography, and this presents an excellent networking opportunity as well as critical feedback on your work.
In an effort to be fair with limited time slots in that the festival realizes that some reviewers will be more popular than others, there will be a random seeding of reviewers based on picks you will submit through your personalized account on the web site (early summer). By purchasing a pass earlier, a person will have a higher chance of guaranteeing an appointment with a reviewer that is high on your list. Seeding results will not be announced until two weeks prior to the weekend of the Friday September 24th. There will be late reviewer additions, appointment cancellations, and additional ala Carte additions that can be signed up for the day of the festival and updated every hour.
